DIE RHEINNIXEN
Gothic Opera are returning to Battersea Arts Centre's Grand Hall this Halloween with supernatural tale Die Rheinnixen (The Nixies of the Rhine) by Offenbach.
Fully staged for the first time in the UK, with a newly written arrangement for chamber orchestra. Our production is set in the postwar chaos of the short-lived Weimar Republic, with visuals inspired by the dream factory of German expressionist cinema and the political poster art of the period.
