Coming to the Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre this Halloween.
Based on the Pushkin story, La Dame de Pique (The Queen of Spades) was composed by Fromental Halévy to a libretto by Eugène Scribe. Fully staged for the very first time since its premiere and first run in Paris in 1850.
