GOTHIC OPERA

Charlotte is a co-founding director and the executive producer of Gothic Opera. She has produced five critically-acclaimed productions with Gothic Opera, including La Nonne sanglante by Charles Gounod, winner of an Off West End Award in the Opera Production category in 2022, and Bartok’s Bluebeard’s Castle, a reimagined multidisciplinary production which was a Finalist in the Opera Production category that same year.

Previously a soprano for many years, Charlotte has performed roles such as Poppea in L’Incoronazione di Poppea by Monteverdi, Emmy in Der Vampyr by Marschner and l’Enfant in Ravel’s L’Enfant et les sortilèges. As a native French speaker, Charlotte is also a language coach for singers.
